Massage Therapy

Our RMTs are highly trained in a variety of treatment methods, allowing them to tailor your visit to aid with injury recovery, help manage pain, optimize athletic performance, and promote general well being.

Sport Massage in Kelowna

Sports massage in Kelowna was designed specifically for athletes seeking peak performance preparation, post-event recovery, or enhanced functionality during training sessions. Sports massage therapists prioritize injury prevention and healing within the musculoskeletal system, offering benefits to individuals with injuries, persistent pain, or restricted range of motion by addressing muscle and tendon issues.

Not for just athletes, sports massage therapy is beneficial to active clients or someone looking for a more vigorous massage treatment.

Prenatal Massage

As early as a few weeks into pregnancy, women can begin to experience pain in their muscles and joints in response to their body’s changes to pregnancy. RMT’s are trained to treat many of these effects including sciatica, discomfort from insomnia, compression syndrome in the hands and feet, leg cramps and more.

Our RMT’s use specific pregnancy pillows to elevate the belly for effective treatment to reduce discomfort, swelling and pain throughout every term and trimester. Massage therapy is safe for pregnant women even late into their third trimester. However caution should be considered if you have an increased risk of preterm labor, high blood pressure, blood clots or complications with placenta.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage

  • Promotes better sleep
  • Relieve tension headaches
  • Relieves low back pain, leg pain, and other musculoskeletal pain
  • Reduce swelling in feet and ankles
  • Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Improves overall sense of wellbeing

Injury Management

Massage therapy treatments can be used to prevent as well as help recover from injuries. Treatments focus not only on manipulating tissues of the injured areas, but on the compensating structures as well. The benefits of this type of treatment include improved range of motion and joint flexibility, pain reduction, and decreased recovery times. The goal is to work with you so you can keep up and/or get back to the activities you love.
