Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the scientific study of human body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, biomechanical, and psychological dynamic principles and mechanisms of movement. A Kinesiologist will look at your current functional standards and identify any shortcomings. This information will allow them to curate a program specific to you to allow for improvement in functionality.
Kinesiology Taping
Rock tape is designed to improve muscle function while aiding in injury recovery and support. The tape works by gently pulling on the skin where applied, this creates a small gap between your skin and the muscle below it allowing for optimal movement.

Testing
Balance Point Assessment
The whole point of the Balance Point Assessment is to empower the athlete with the objective information they need to understand what they should do in training to get better. This assessment allows us to understand your body’s strength and weaknesses and how it responds to training stress. Athletes will learn to observe biomarkers and how to use them to their advantage to determine intensities and goals for each training cycle and assess improvements over time.
VO2 Max
The VO2 Max is the gold-standard measurement of endurance and can be a great tool for athletes to use before and at the end of a training cycle to determine if any improvement has been made to their cardiovascular fitness.
This test is performed on a treadmill or bike while connected to a machine capable of analyzing your expired air. Data is collected on how much oxygen you use as you exercise and determines the maximal oxygen you can consume during exercise.
Step Test
The step test is a quick and simple way to set a baseline for your current fitness level and look at how far you’ve come. When comparing step tests to previous tests, we can determine just how effective your training has been.
Coaching Session
If you’re looking to improve your performance a one-on-one specific coaching session might be just what you need. Luke can help you with running and biking technique, physiologic zone specific training and specific respiratory training.
