As early as a few weeks into pregnancy, women can begin to experience pain in their muscles and joints in response to their body’s changes to pregnancy. RMT’s are trained to treat many of these effects including sciatica, discomfort from insomnia, compression syndrome in the hands and feet, leg cramps and more.
Our RMT’s use specific pregnancy pillows to elevate the belly for effective treatment to reduce discomfort, swelling and pain throughout every term and trimester. Massage therapy is safe for pregnant women even late into their third trimester. However caution should be considered if you have an increased risk of preterm labor, high blood pressure, blood clots or complications with placenta.
