Registered Massage therapist (RMT)

Alanna is a graduate from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in Kelowna, BC. She completed her RMT education in 2018 and became registered in 2019. Alanna completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan in 2015, where she focused her studies in tissue and injury repair, exercise physiology, human biomechanics and nutrition. Alanna provides well-rounded treatment to any type of client walking through the door.

Using her knowledge of exercise, the human body and movement, and the connection between mental and physical wellness, Alanna creates a positive and recovery-based treatment for her clients. Alanna has worked with a variety of demographics in both exercise based recovery and massage including hip and knee replacement clients, post-cardiac event patients, elite athletes, pre/post natal, weekend warriors, and everything in between. Using her extensive knowledge of the mechanics of human movement and physiology with her hands on skills of massage provide a balanced, well-rounded, and effective massage for her clients.

For the last 5 years, Alanna has worked in fitness and rehab-centered physical and personal training using her designation as a kinesiologist, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. While she has worked in fitness for 5 years, Alanna has been a life-long fitness and sport enthusiast. Outside of the clinic, you can find Alanna teaching spin, bootcamp, barre, and stretch fitness classes in downtown Kelowna and West Kelowna, snowboarding up at Big White, and playing recreational volleyball, or taking her dog Henry for a walk along the beautiful downtown Kelowna boardwalk. Alanna looks forward to helping you reach your goal of health and feeling your best!
