Brendan Hoekstra R.Ac.

Brendan graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Hoping to help people live their lives to the fullest, Brendan then continued his education in Calgary, graduating from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009 with a degree in Acupuncture. Brendan’s education and experience has allowed him to develop an understanding of mental and physical behaviours and disabilities, as well as how the human mind and body work together. After working in Alberta for a number of years, Brendan and his wife moved to Kelowna in the summer of 2012 in order to be closer to family, and of course, to enjoy the beautiful weather. Joining the Valeo Health Clinic was the perfect next step in fulfilling Brendan’s goal of being able to provide exceptional health care.

Brendan enjoys many activities but focuses mostly on Martial arts, Hiking, Water sports and Volleyball.
